What we believe about GOD?
We believe in one eternal God, the Creator of all things, and the Holy Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
What we believe about God’s Word?
We believe the Bible is the Word of God. It's true, authoritative and relates to our daily lives.
What we believe about separation of sin?
We believe that sin has separated us from God and His purpose for our lives.
What we believe about Jesus Christ?
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, as both God and man, is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and perfect life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to demonstrate His victory and qualify us for life.
What we believe about repentance?
We believe that to receive forgiveness and experience
the ‘new birth,’ we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and surrender to His
will for our lives.
What we believe about baptism?
We believe that to live the holy and fruitful lives God intends for us, we need to be baptised in water and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit empowers us to use spiritual gifts, including
speaking in tongues.
What we believe about church fellowship?
We believe in the power and importance of the Church
and the requirement of believers to meet regularly for fellowship, prayer and the ‘breaking of bread’.
What do we believe about serving?
We believe that God has individually seasoned us to successfully
achieve His plan for our lives: to worship God, fulfil our task in the Church and minister and serve the community in which we live.
What we believe about healing?
We believe that God desires to heal and transform us to live
healthy and blessed lives to serve others more effectively.
What we believe about eternal life?
We believe that our eternal destination of either Heaven or Hell is determined by our answer to the Lord Jesus Christ.
What we believe about the second coming?
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back as He
promised and will judge both the living and the dead.
OUR STATEMENT of faith
Our Faith in the Bible:
The Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God without error in the original writings, and the complete
revelation of His will for the salvation of men, and the divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life.
Our Faith in God :
There is one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect, and eternally existing in three manifestations: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Our Faith in Jesus Christ:
He is true God and true
man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross, the complete and final sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. Further, He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven,
where, at the right hand of the Majesty on High, He is now our High Priest and Advocate.
Our Faith in the Holy Spirit:
The ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ and, during this age, to convict men of sin, regenerate the believing sinner, indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for godly living and service.
Our Faith in Man:
Man was created in the image of God but fell into
sin and is therefore lost, and only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can
he obtain salvation and spiritual life.
Our Faith in Salvation;
The shed blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only ground for justification and salvation for all who believe, and only such as receive Jesus Christ by faith are born of the Holy Spirit and thus become children of God.
Our Faith in the Return of Jesus Christ:
The personal, premillennial, and imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ is our hope and has a vital bearing on the personal life and service of the believer.
Our Faith in Future Events:
There will be a bodily
resurrection of all the dead; of the believer to everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord, and of the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting conscious punishment.
Our faith in the Church:
The true Church is composed of all such persons, who through saving faith in Jesus Christ, have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit
and are united together in the body of Christ of which He is the head.
Our faith in the Baptism and Communion:
Water baptism by immersion soon after accepting Christ as Lord and personal Savior, is a testimony of death to sin and resurrection to a new life and the Lord’s Supper
is a memorial service setting forth in a sacred and symbolic manner the death of the Lord Jesus Christ; all true believers and only believers should share in it.
